2006 Knit Alongs Have you seen this list before? I just found it today and was really impressed! I also found a knit along there for Swallowtail Shawl which I have on more than one occastion thought of Knitting. It looks hard, but I have just the yarn for it so we’ll see!
Speaking of yarn…I hate Quellon by Araucania yarns. Hate is a strong word, but I’m using it for you all today. hate hate hate that yarn. I do love how it feels and I do love the colorway I got it in *2*, but I hate the yarn. Let me explain why…every time I go to wind a ball of it *I have 2* I spend multiple hours untangling it. I don’t know what I do wrong when I’m untwisting the hank, but let me tell you I must be doing something wrong. I hate it and won’t be spending the 15 bucks a hank again. maybe one of their other yarns because I do love the feel of it. Andy think it would make a lovely hat, and the thought of knitting a hat with that yarn makes me want to barf. It will more than likely end up a scarf…a scarf I never use.
